Purpose of Group
To provide mutual support for local Compact development workers and share and promote good practice successes
To work together to provide a common approach to issues arising with Public agencies, such as Government Office West Midlands, the new regional Strategic Health Authority, reconfigured NHS Primary Care Trusts, regional Learning and Skills Council, Advantage West Midlands and The Regional Assembly
And in the Voluntary and Community Sector with key second-tier and umbrella agencies, the national Compact Working Group and the Local Compact Developers Network, The Office of
the Compact Commissioner and Regional Action
